B+S Technology Days

Veröffentlicht: 7/2/19

Similarly to past years, special machine manufacturer Bausch+Ströbel gave their customers a behind-the-scenes look at their Ilshofen manufacturing site from June 25-June 27, 2019. The center point of the B+S Technology Days was a mobile two-story exhibition hall, standing at 45 meters long and 15 meters tall.

Bausch+Ströbel presented itself as an innovation driver of the industry while displaying its full range of products and services on more than 600 square meters. The three-day event drew in 120 customers a day from over 40 countries worldwide every day.

The event focused on several topics, one including, flexible pharma production. Companies striving to compete in the dynamic global markets need to be flexible in every respect. Smaller batches, highly customized products, faster throughput – but above it all, quality still rules.

Modular production lines can be a useful tool to address the challenges. Bausch+Ströbel offers production line concepts for different capacities, especially developed to meet the ever-changing requirements. The company exhibited a brand-new machine concept that perfectly complements its other industrial-range machinery.

Another focus was digitalization. Two years ago, the German Handelsblatt business paper called Bausch+Ströbel a "pioneer in industry 4.0". The company has done everything to keep ahead. In addition to being a world market leader in filling and packaging equipment, Bausch+Ströbel has been offering its pharmaceutical customers an extended range of technical services, such as digital tools, for several years.
Among these tools are a Virtual Reality Center and the company's DigiLab with augmented reality applications, such as smart glasses that superimpose digital data on the physical equipment observed by the wearer. The glasses not only help support service technicians in troubleshooting at the machine but also enable staff training without the physical machines.

The Bausch+Ströbel in-house research department showcased potential future technologies. Besides the exhibition, the visitors could attend three different lectures each day, i.e. a total of nine lectures.

The exhibition included stands from partner companies WILCO AG, GMPI Maschinen GmbH, Hohenloher-Verpackungs-Systeme GmbH and eleven other companies offering packaging materials, isolators, freeze driers or labels.

Thank you very much for your visit and already today a warm welcome - to the B+S Technology Days 2022!
