Ralph Frank

On February 1st, 2020, Ralph Frank joined Bausch+Ströbel Maschinenfabrik Ilshofen GmbH+Co. KG management team as the Production Manager. The 56-year-old was born in the German federal state of Thuringia, received a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.

Until recently, Ralph Frank was working with Wolffkran AG, where he was a member of the group's upper management and oversaw production, industrial engineering, and logistics. He is looking forward to new challenges: "In my first encounter with B+S, I was deeply impressed with how well the company meets the demands of a world market leader through corporate responsibility for its employees. It's not the norm", he says. His goal is to make B+S even more successful in the future.

There is much going on at Bausch+Ströbel: The company that manufactures filling and packaging machines for the pharmaceutical industry worldwide is growing at a fast pace. Back in 2009, it had a workforce of 900. Today, there are 1,550 employees at the headquarters in Ilshofen alone. Following the significant increase in personnel and the extensive expansion of the facilities, further organizational development is consistently a priority.

This is of course also true for the production division. Bausch+Ströbel is confident that in Ralph Frank, they have found a specialist who, with all his experience and expertise, is the perfect match to complement the existing management team.

The family-operated company relies upon a mixed management team, consisting of partners and managing directors who did not start their professional careers at Bausch+Ströbel. The managing directors and partners are Markus Ströbel (Sales) and Thorsten Bullinger (Legal Department). Dr. Hagen Gehringer has been acting as Technical Director since 2013 and Bernhard Frisch as Commercial Director since 2018, responsible for Controlling, Accounting, Purchasing, IT, Human Resources, and other departments.

After Bausch+Ströbel founding partner Siegfried Bullinger retired in 2018, Gerhard Blumenstock, Shop Floor Manager, temporarily oversaw the production division in company management. Moving forward, he will focus on the structural development of the company.

Ralph Frank brings significant experience to his new role. He held senior positions in multiple companies over the past decades, where he successfully instituted and implemented various change and improvement processes.
