Reorganization

Bausch+Ströbel has completed the reorganization of its management bodies and appointed a newly formed Supervisory Board effective February 1, 2026. The previous members Prof. Dr. Ing. Dieter Spath, Dr. Ulf Bohn, and Dr. Andreas Pleßke are stepping down from their positions.
The departing members are clearing the way for the new board to play a direct role in upcoming personnel decisions and the future strategic direction of the company from the outset. The shareholders would like to thank the departing members for their work.
The new Supervisory Board combines technological and global expertise in a targeted manner: Dr. Friedrich Haefele, a pharmaceutical expert and co-developer of the “VarioSys” system, contributes in-depth technical and pharmaceutical knowledge, while the former CEO of Voith Hydro, Uwe Wehnhardt, brings global management experience in mechanical and plant engineering to the table. The committee is rounded off by strategy consultant Wilfried Bantle.
