Generational transfer completed

Markus Ströbel, son of company co-founder Rolf Ströbel, was appointed Managing Director in 2001 already. Now, the second generation of the Bullinger family rises to the company management as well. Thorsten Bullinger takes over the Managing Director post from his father, Siegfried Bullinger.

In 2013, Dr. Hagen Gehringer was appointed the first Managing Director who was not a member of any of the founding families. In light of the rapid growth of the company, it is planned to hire further Managing Directors and distribute the upcoming tasks among a larger team in the near future. These plans form part of the sustainable strategy that has been developed together with the recently established company advisory board.

Thorsten Bullinger, who graduated as a lawyer, has been working for the company in several capacities for some years. His latest position was Head of Legal Affairs, Finance and Administration. In addition, he is Managing Director at GMPi in Ilshofen, another packaging machinery manufacturer.
