Automatic coding of ampoules immediately after they have been filled and sealed ensures that the contents can be identified reliably throughout subsequent further processing.

Directly after the filling and sealing process a machine readable color ring code is applied to the ampoule stem. This color code controls the subsequent operations such as intermediate storage, labelling and secondary packaging.
