Solutions for safe and reliable filling of RTU syringes, vials and cartridges

NTT process

The no-touch transfer (NTT) ensures the GMP-compliant introduction of pre-sterilised packaging materials in double bags into the class A area. Additional procedures such as disinfection or bio-decontamination are no longer required when introducing the product into the aseptic zone. The NTT process is fully compliant with EU GMP Annex 1 and is based on the principles of quality risk management in accordance with ICH Q9.

Dosing system

A suitable dosing system with maximum accuracy is available for every product – whether water-like or highly viscous: Rotary piston pump, peristaltic pump or time-pressure dosing. For optimum filling results, vacuum-assisted filling and vacuum-assisted closing can also be added. Adjustable gas flushing during filling and closing is also possible.

IPC process

The fully automatic statistical in-process control (IPC) checks the dosing quantity of the objects during the filling and closing process. Automatic readjustment of the dosing quantity in the event of under- and overdosing guarantees the highest filling quality.

Maximum process reliability

To increase process reliability, camera systems can be integrated to check the stopper height for syringes and cartridges. Poorly positioned stoppers can also be ejected fully automatically, minimizing the need for manual intervention.
