Bausch+Ströbel completes the reorganisation of its management bodies and appoints a newly formed Supervisory Board as of 1 February 2026. The previous members Prof. Dr Dieter Spath, Dr Ulf Bohn and Dr Andreas Pleßke are stepping down.

The outgoing board members are clearing the way for the new board to be able to directly shape upcoming personnel decisions and the future strategic direction from the outset. The shareholders would like to thank the departing board members for their work.

The new Supervisory Board specifically combines technological and global expertise: as a pharmaceutical expert and co-developer of the "VarioSys" system, Dr Friedrich Haefele brings in-depth technical and pharmaceutical knowledge, while the former CEO of Voith Hydro, Uwe Wehnhardt, stands for global management experience in mechanical and plant engineering. The board is completed by strategy consultant Wilfried Bantle.
