Look Inside
Hands-On Training
What is an apprenticeship really like these days? At the “Look Inside” day at the Bausch+Ströbel training center in Ilshofen, the chance was given to experience exactly that.
The young people and their parents gained practical insights into the company’s apprenticeship and study programs. Through workshops and conversations with apprentices and trainers, the visitors were able to get a firsthand look at what daily life in an apprenticeship is like.
The modern facilities, personalized support, and clear career prospects were particularly well received. Parents also expressed a great deal of appreciation: “The insight was very authentic and convincing. You can see how much value is placed here on a good education,” one father concluded. Another said, “Look Inside convinced us that it’s the right choice for my daughter to start her apprenticeship at Bausch+Ströbel.”
For many years, the company has successfully trained skilled workers in technical, business, and IT professions, as well as in dual degree programs.
The offerings for 2027 range from traditional technical trades—such as industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, and electronics technician for automation—to business and IT professions, as well as dual and cooperative degree programs. Visitors also learned that a few apprenticeship positions are still available for the 2026 intake.
