Rolf Ströbel and Siegfried Bullinger receive medal for merit
"You have been among the major entrepreneurial personalities in the District of Schwäbisch Hall for a long time" said Gerhard Bauer, Head of the District Council, in the award ceremony.
The occasion for the award was the topping-out ceremony for the extension of the Bausch + Ströbel engineering building (we reported). "I have not come empty-handed today" said Gerhard Bauer. He presented the medal of merit of the Schwäbisch Hall District to the Bausch + Ströbel founders Rolf Ströbel and Siegfried Bullinger for their extraordinary entrepreneurial achievements. Mr. Bauer thanked them both for their "entrepreneurial life achievement which has made a great contribution to the economic development of the district and also will continue to do so in the future".
In his laudation, Bauer called the development of Bausch + Ströbel a "really amazing success story". Bullinger and Ströbel started in a garage and have continuously developed the company at their Ilshofen location and even abroad. In the course of the process the Flair Park-Hotel in Ilshofen was built which is a "loyal and reliable partner" to the organizers of the District's Trade Show.
Mr. Bauer praised the entrepreneurial skills and the innovative ideas of Siegfried Bullinger and Rolf Ströbel. "You made Bausch + Ströbel one of the global technology leaders in the field of pharmaceutical packaging processes". With its 900 employees, the company ranks among the biggest employers and vocational training companies in the District of Schwäbisch Hall.
Since a well managed and successful company means secure jobs, Bullinger's and Ströbel's life achievement in over 40 years has increased the quality of life for all concerned. As the company is being handed down to the next generation, Mr. Bauer said: "Since the names Ströbel and Bullinger will continue to be inextricably linked to the company I am absolutely convinced that the 40 years to come will also be successful".
